On 16 and 17 September, Porsche Centre Solihull was delighted to host guests for round 12 and 13 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, held at Silverstone Race Circuit.
Round 13 saw a win for Dino Zamparelli who completed the 27 laps in a time of 25:49.282 bringing him into second place in the Championship standings. The Championship has never been so close with Charlie Eastwood, Dan Cammish and Dino Zamparelli all fighting for first place. Charlie Eastwood, the Porsche GB Scholar, maintains his position at the top of the standings with one race to go.
As well as the action from the Carrera Cup, two Dunlop MSA British Touring Cars Championship races also took place at Silverstone during the weekend. Our guests enjoyed Porsche hospitality which included a guided paddock tour with Emma Watson from the Motorsport Team, a talk from Charlie Eastwood and the chance to get up close with his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car.
You can follow the Carrera Cup Championship, which culminates at Brands Hatch in October, by downloading the Carrera Cup GB Live web app.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
