In 2014 Porsche launched a car that overturned perceptions of what a compact SUV could be. Characterised by a daring design and a thrilling drive on any terrain, the Macan combined genuine sports car excitement with comfort and everyday practicality. It was, and remains, arguably the one true sports car in its segment.
Today the new generation Macan, with enhanced styling, improved interior comfort and comprehensive digital connectivity, demonstrates that same desire to be a leader. Indeed, many details are reminiscent of the iconic 911 sports car, as well as Porsche’s technological masterpiece, the 918 Spyder.
The new Macan features a more purposeful, modern appearance, focused on its front and rear design in particular, with lighting playing a key role. The 25-watt headlights have undergone a complete redesign, now incorporating full LED technology, with a sculptured, future-oriented look. At the rear the striking taillight strip is another typical Porsche element, complementing with new, integrated four-point brake lights.
In summary, the new Macan delivers all the benefits of an SUV, along with the unforgettable thrill of authentic sports car driving.
