Today the electrifying journey continues as we welcome the new Porsche Taycan into the series.
Featuring the greatest electric range within the series, and the same impressive design and personalisation options, the new Porsche Taycan is a striking model to compliment the Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S.
The new Taycan combines speed, efficiency and driver engagement into an attractive rear wheel drive design. Driven by a powerful Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor at the rear axle and the Performance Battery as standard, the Taycan delivers a remarkable 326 PS. With overboost under Launch Control, the maximum power output is up to 408 PS. The optional Performance Battery Plus pushes these figures to 380 PS and 476 PS respectively. Enough to propel the Taycan from 0-62mph in 5.4s and onto a top speed of 143 mph.*
The new model can drive up to 301 miles (WLTP) on a single charge when equipped with the Performance Battery Plus - the highest of all Taycan models. With a charging time of just 22.5 minutes** to get from 5% to 80% charge at a rate of up to 270kW at an appropriate High Power Charger, you certainly won’t need to stand still for long.
The future-focused interior design is clearly Taycan at heart: minimalist, ultra-modern looks surround the freestanding curved instrument cluster that simplifies its controls. The multifunctional sports steering wheel and 8-way electric Comfort Seats in the front combine performance with comfort, while the generous 491 litres of luggage space and 10-speaker, 150-watt Sound Package Plus make for a practical and rewarding drive.
The exterior? With understated Black lower valance, side skirts, rear diffusor and mirror trims. The standard 19-inch Taycan Aero wheels, with their five-spoke design, are aerodynamically optimised to reduce drag and improve electric range, blending superb design with advanced engineering. You will immediately sense the DNA of the Taycan in this new model.
