Things to do on Handover Day

01/7/2022

At Porsche, we want to create the most memorable and special handover experience imaginable. We'll give you some suggestions in this post for things to do when you leave Porsche Centre Solihull in your new Porsche, such as dining at one of Leicestershire Solihull's top restaurants or exploring its picturesque countryside. These are some of our suggestions:

Historic Buildings

  • Visit  Packwood House, a topiary garden, park, and Tudor home that have all been extensively restored. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available at their café, which is open and sells a variety of hot and cold meals and drinks. Dogs are welcome to join you on the patio's outdoor chairs, and water bowls are always nearby. Find out more at  https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/packwood-house .

  • Visit  Baddesley Clinton and explore a private, cosy estate located in the Forest of Arden that has 500 years' worth of intriguing and unexpected tales. Visit the vegetable garden, where you'll find our cut-flower borders where we cultivate the majority of the house-decorating flowers, especially this summer. Find out more at  https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/baddesley-clinton .

Restaurants & Pubs

  • Visit  The Farm a historic grade II listed farmhouse and barn, a pub and restaurant in Solihull that provides a delightful sociable dining experience- only a five minutes drive from Porsche Centre Solihull. Along with traditional prime-cut steaks, tenderly spit-roasted joints, and delectable fresh seafood, the seasonal menus also provide intriguing options and the team's daily market specials. Find out more at  https://www.innatthefarm.co.uk/ .

  • Visit  Carters of Moseley one of Birmingham’s renowned Michelin Star restaurants. Daily changes are made to menus, which are created following the seasonal rhythms of Britain. The goal is to innovate by using locally produced ingredients in place of imported ones. Find out more at  https://cartersofmoseley.co.uk/ .

  • Visit  Hampton Manor - Set on 45 wooded acres, this refined hotel in a 19th-century country manor is home to a collective mix of restaurants, including the Michelin Starred Peel’s restaurant. Smoke restaurant sits on the edge of the Manor’s walled gardens where MasterChef The Professionals winner, Stuart Deeley, is cooking over coals. Built into the very walls of the Manor’s Victorian Walled Garden, Grace & Savour is an immersive dining experience. You can go for just dinner or you can stay in their dedicated luxury accommodation.
